I loved this cake from the moment you first posted it, and to be fucked-upedly honest, I think about this cake ALL THE DAMN TIME, but especially when I contemplate entertaining guests at my slightly-larger but still small apartment.

Do you have a preferred cake mix or pie filling brand for this recipe? I'll probably experiment, but that can get expensive when you live overseas, as I'm sure you know. If you have any recs, I sure would appreciate them.
