Lost in the City Lights Chapter 4
~Previously in Lost in the City Lights- Ina got to her new school and dropped off the green container at the nurse's office. Ina then discovered that Daiki goes to the same school. Now there are in math class. What can happen??~

When Ina and Daiki walked into the math classroom Ina's widen. "There are this many people in one classroom," Ina asked looking at the 60 people in the classroom. Daiki couldn't help but to chuckle. "Not used to this many kids in one classroom are you," he asked. Ina nodded. "There are usually only 25 kids in each classroom," she replied. Daiki sat at his desk as Ina just stood against a wall looking out the window. 'This is so different from home,' Ina thought to herself. "You can sit next to me Ina-chan we don't have assigned seats in this class," Daiki said. Ina smiled and sat next to Daiki. Ina started to look out the window and spaced out, watching the clouds. "Excuse me. You're in my seat," a girl said. Ina soon snapped out of her daydream and looked at the girl and replied, "Daiki told me that there are no assigned seats in the class. So I have the right to sit here if I want to." The mystery girl laughed. "Since you're new I'll give you some slack. I'm Akira Nori," the mystery girl said. "Kouken Ina," Ina replied. "Nori-chan will you quit being mean to Ina-chan," Daiki asked. "But we've been dating for over a year Dai-kun! Why are you taking side with this girl," Nori asked. "That doesn't give you the right to be mean to girls that I talk to," Daiki yelled. "Whatever. I'll just move," Ina said clenching her fists. Ina then stood up and walked to the other corner of the room and sat at a different desk alone. Seconds before the bell rang Ryosuke and Chinen walked in the classroom. 'Do all of the guys from JUMP come here,' Ina asked herself.

About 5 more minutes pass when Tanaka-sensei comes in the classroom and everyone immediately sit down. "Alright class we have a lot to do today, but first we have a new student," Tanaka said. She then looked at Ina and said, "If you wish you can come to the front of the class and introduce yourself." Ina stood up and walked in front of the class then said, "I'm Kouken Ina. I used to live in a small town in Michigan, but my father who is a businessman got promoted and was transferred here to Tokyo. My mother was a Japanese teacher in America and that's why I know so much Japanese. Also I'm a type one diabetic. So just in case you get curious about this," Ina said taking our a rectangular device from her pocket. "It's for my diabetes, not an iPod, not a cell phone. Not any of that crap," Ina said calmly putting the device back in her pocket. Chinen raised his hand and asked," What is that device called Ina-chan?" "It's called an insulin pump. It gives me my medicine. It's an alternative to taking shots," Ina replied. "Thank you for the medical insight Kouken. You may sit down now," Tanaka said. "You're welcome," Ina said sitting down.

'God I hate Geometry,' Ina thought to herself as she was doing her math homework in study hall. A few minutes later Ina's hand started to shake as her skin began to go pale. 'Not now,' Ina thought she stood up. "Ina-chan are you okay," Daiki asked concerned. "Daiki can you take me to the nurse's office," Ina asked getting dizzy. "Is it your diabetes," Daiki asked. "Hai," Ina replied. Daiki quickly stood up and took Ina to the nurse's office.

When Ina and Daiki got to the nurse's office it was like a ghost town. No one was in there except the nurse. "Can I help you," the nurse asked. "I feel like my blood sugar is low," Ina replied. "Oh you must be Kouken Ina correct," the nurse asked. Ina replied with a nod as the nurse took out the green container that Ina dropped off before school started. Ina quickly tested her blood sugar and it read 31. "31," Ina said her voice also shaky. "Oh my. Sit down Kouken. I'll get you some juice. Daiki please keep an eye on Ina," the nurse said leaving as Ina sat down. "Are you going to be okay Ina-chan," Daiki asked. "I'll be fine after I have some sugar. That will raise my blood sugar," Ina replied.
