Lost in the City Lights Chapter 6
Hikaru and Ryutaro walk into their English class and sees Daiki pacing back and forth. "What's wrong Dai-chan," Ryutaro asked. "Ina-chan. She isn't here yet. We usually walk to English together," Daiki replied. "Did she have to go to the nurse's office," Hikaru asked. "No," Daiki replied. "Have you tried calling her," Keito asked. "No, I don't have her number," Daiki replied. "Do you have Ina-chan's number," Hikaru asked. "Hai," Keito replied. "How do you have Ina-chan's number," Daiki asked. "My dad works with Ina-chan's dad. Our parents had dinner together a few days ago so we exchanged numbers," Keito replied. Daiki suddenly felt jealous of Keito. Ina gave her phone number to Keito but not to him. "I'll try calling Ina-chan right now," Keito said dialing Ina's number. All of a sudden the song Last to Know by Three Days Grace is played in the classroom. "That's Ina-chan's ringtone...but she isn't here," Keito said. Ryutaro, Daiki, Keito, and Hikaru followed the sound of Ina's ringtone and found Nori trying to turn off Ina's cell phone!
~Meanwhile~
Ina sighed after she gave up trying to get out of the closet. "It's just like back in the states...someone always picking on me," she muttered to herself as she sat on the floor. Ina pulled her knees to her chest and sat there quietly. Since Nori took her phone she couldn't call Keito for help. However, she knew that when the custodian comes to get stuff out of the supply closet she'll be let out. So all Ina had to do is wait until the school day was over. She closed her eyes and let the time go by. About an hour later Ina heard footsteps come towards the closet door. Ina quietly looked up at the door and wondered who was at the door. "H-Hello," Ina asked quietly. "Ina-chan you in there," Ina heard Daiki, Keito, Hikaru, and Ryutaro ask. "H-Hai. D-Demo I'm locked in here," Ina replied. "Don't worry Ina-chan~! We got the key," Ryutaro replied. "Hontou," Ina asked surprised. "Hai~," the others replied. Seconds pass and Ryutaro unlocks the door and opens it. Ina covered her eyes so she could get adjusted to the light. Keito handed Ina her phone and asked, "Are you alright?" Ina put her phone in her pocket and replied, "Hai I'm alright now. Demo I kinda hurt my hand banging on the door." Ina looked down at her left hand which was still stinging in pain. Keito helped Ina up and said, "Since we both have lunch next I'll take you to the nurse's office to get some ice." Ina replied with a nod as the bell rang. Daiki started to feel extremely jealous. Keito has Ina's phone number, he has met her parents, and to him it seems that Ina is ignoring him. Ina looked at Daiki and said, "If you truly have feelings for Akira Nori then it might be best if you don't talk to me very much anymore Daiki-san. She has become jealous of how much time you spend with me in school and not her. That's the reason why these little events have occurred. I don't want to ruin a good relationship with two people who have strong feelings for each other." The guys looked at Ina in shock, Daiki was the most shocked. Ina looked at everyone and continued, "I do not wish to cause trouble for any of you. Not like this. Saving me from a situation that is my fault for it occurring in the first place." "Ina-chan," Hikaru and Ryutaro said. Keito looked at Ina and said, "Ikuzo." "Hai," Ina replied as the two went to the nurse's office. Daiki just stood there feeling like his heart was pulled out of him and shattered right before his eyes. That's when Daiki knew. His feelings for Kouken Ina, are real...
