The Unexpected Drop-In Chapter 4
The day of Michi's first performance with A.N. JELL was quickly approaching and Michi is already stressing out with the performance a week away. "Uwah! Yabai! Yabai," Michi yells as she is searching her room. This morning when she woke up, Michi noticed her pearl necklace was missing, 'Where is it,' Michi thought to herself as she was nearly tearing her room apart. That necklace was Michi's good luck charm ever since that day in Okinawa (please refer to Chapter 3). "Michi-san, daijobu," Mio asked walking into Michi's room. "It's gone," Michi yelled as she continued searching. "What's gone," Mio asked worried. "My necklace! The one I always wear," Michi replied. "Didn't you take it off during rehearsal yesterday since you were working on choreography," Mio asked. Michi's head shot up in realization. "I didn't put it back on... What if it got stolen Mio-chan," Michi asked near the point of breaking down. Mio put her hands on Michi's shoulders and yelled, "Michi-san get a grip! Let's go to the studio and ask around. We can get the others to help as well." After taking a few deep breaths Michi calmed down and replied with a nod.
As the five got to the studio, they split into two groups. Mio, Yuki, and Ren were in one group, while Shu and Michi were in the second group. Mio, Yuki, and Ren were checking from the ground floor, up. Shu and Michi were doing the opposite.
"Any luck minna," Yuki asked as he caught up to Mio and Ren. The two shook their heads. "We don't see it at all," Mio replied. "It couldn't just disappear like this," Ren added. "I just hope Michi-chan finds it soon," Yuki said looking up towards the higher floors.
"Gomen Michi-san, demo we haven't seen your necklace since yesterday when you worked with us," the head choreographer said. "Demo if we see it, we'll let you know," another choreographer said. "Arigato," Michi said bowing before leaving the room. "Any luck," Shu asked looking at Michi. Michi shook her head in response, looking down. Shu then put his hands on Michi's shoulders and said, "We'll find your necklace Michi, I promise you that." Michi looked at Shu slightly surprised. 'Shu really has seemed more caring and protective over me since we went to Harajuku together,' Michi thought to herself.
"I got an idea! I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier," Yuki said jumping up and down like a five-year-old boy after eating a ton of candy. "Nani kore Yuki," Ren asked. "The security cameras! Why don't we look through them? We will then find out who took Michi-chan's necklace," Yuki replied. "That's a good idea Yuki-san. I'll text Michi-san and tell her the plan. Then we'll all meet at President-sama's office," Mio said. "Hai," Ren and Yuki replied.
