I guess the idea that maybe the parents and children don't share the same beliefs, never occured to them. But, that would then make it a religious issue. And, religious tolerance... Right, what happened to that?
Our texetbooks already define marriage as being between a man and a woman, or at least they will by next year. The teachers have been told to teach if they wish to - I figure the majority of them will.
