One of my friends noted that seven different reporters, anchors, and diplomatic speakers used the word "vigilant" today. Not a very common word. It was like they were all reading from the same prepared statement.
London Terror attacks and News Media Coverage

I too was interested in the media coverage but for a totally different reason. If I was a terrorists and was watching any of the major news media stations coverage, I would have learned everything there was about how Britain responds to emergencies of this nature. Every detail of times, places, numbers and so on. It is far time we considered this a war and that goverments censor what is published for our enemies to glean. The media is making it a cake walk for the next attack. Isn't it enough to report that they did a good job and not give every last detail of the operations? We are doomed to our own foolishness.

Are we vigilant, though?
