I love honest!Fai, it's hard to do right in AU (OU you just have to set it post series) and you got it right!

And Kurogane's blunt way of giving Fai advice is epic win, it's very cute and very Kuro-puu!

21!? Fai has 21!? Hahahaha, well, I guess this means we fail as detectives.

I liked very much how you pictured this whole moment, I didn't think you would write anything like this, I mean, I thought Fai would keep his secrets a little longer but the moment was just right, really intimate and sweet, making little movements in their relationship, afraid of taking too much... it feels like they're going slowly but fast at the same time, just caressing each other but with an intimacy that it's difficult to achieve :)

And that was a cliffhanger? I want to think it isn't, I'll try to convince myself it's just the neighbour asking for salt and not Kurogane's wife or something like that, lol.

I don't think it was that Fai actually seemed older, in my case happened that I thought "he's older than Kurogane in canon so here it can't be too much difference between their age", in fact, at first, I thought he was even older that this Kurogane, lol.

Ah! I see :D I barely pay any attention to that when I'm writing AUs ^^; slightly wrong, I know, but they just felt 32 and 21 when I came up with it? In ways they're both more mature and immature than each other in canon too.

...guh...21? Darn I wasn't even close! Ah well, I kind of like the age difference, it shows how mature and immature Fai is in different ways.

This chapter was really bittersweet! It was really cute but then Fai leaves! I'm guessing that that last kiss was the one Kurogane's son saw! (Sorry I can't recall his name, the kids haven't been in the last couple of chapters.)

Definitely can't wait to see what happens next!
