Yay for Kobato 20! Not that I watched the series before or know Japanese but still...
Mostly I'm really curious about 3 things:
1) What Fye says about Kobato at the end ... he just knows
2) What Fye says to Kurogane while they're in the room. I get that he tells Syaoran to go help Kobato at work but ... how is being locked in a small room with Kurogane all Valentine's day productive? ... without bringing up the obvious or fangirling xD;; I'm not sure what he gives to her either. Maybe that's what they worked on all day ... *ahem*
3) That little detail about the earring full of memories and if that links to them leaving the world for another one.
Me being the world's biggest cynic, I think I wasn't really anticipating this much unless they slipped a few more hints about post-series Tsubasa. It seems like a pretty cheap excuse for a crossover to me but I don't think it was the worst thing that could have happened :) There was Fye, Kurogane and mentions of cake. I was happy. And I was really really pleased to see a Tetsu Inada joke XD I was crossing my fingers and hoping for that to be brought up and they actually have Kobato and Fye mistaking one voice for another \o/
Oh yeah and there was FYE ON A SWING 8D *fangirl* OH THE EPICNESS OF FYE ON A SWING!!!
*cough* I am eagerly awaiting translations ... there's only so much I can guess with my miniscule knowledge of Japanese x.x
At the moment I'm really looking forward to the new solo album by the singer/guitarist of the Icelandic band Sigur Rós too ^^ I got some information about the pre-order and decided that really I shouldn't really bother with the special edition this time round and save some money. But when I looked at the page it turned out that they're releasing a DVD with the limited edition directed by Dean DeBlois ><;; and now I'm pretty damn excited. Damn crafty marketers... Dean DeBlois directed Sigur Rós' documentary DVD 'Heima' and it has to be one of my favourite films :D The blending of the direction, the music and the themes ranging from the band themselves to their country, its people, its problems and its stunning landscape, is utterly sublime. I love it to pieces. If you can even tolerate their music then I would recommend it wholeheartedly. It's a beautiful film ............... that's prompted me to splash out on a special edition for a collaboration by Jónsi and DeBlois *head-desk* Well.... the trailer looks amazing? It's a good sign ^^;;
