I got peer pressured into writing baby!Fye and baby!Kurogane... that's pretty much all the explanation this needs ^^;;... there's also a baby!Yuui?
Ever since they’d been born, Yuui had been Fye’s favourite person in the world. His brother had always been very quiet and very kind - adoring his twin just as much and fawning over his escapades with naive glee. But even when they were small, Fye had to conclude that his brother was far less... fun than a certain someone.
When Yuui was far too busy catching pages in a picture book to flip them over and Fye was unable to grab his attention, he’d crawl over to his appointed playmate his mother’s friend liked to bring over. The very first time he’d gone to play with his new friend, he’d dragged along a tiny teddy bear, waving it towards the new baby and pushing it against his arm. The new baby seemed decidedly unamused and threw it to the ground. Rather bemused, Fye collected it and started ramming it into him, little eyes gleaming excitedly. This time, the other baby started flailing and waving his arms about with a scrunched up face, smacking Fye on the head. Growing increasingly annoyed and upset, it was all Fye could do but make a very sad sound and lunge on top of the other baby with the teddy. After much flailing and some tears, Yuui dropped his book and crawled over to his rather distressed and heart-broken twin. He gave him a clumsy hug and then Fye was far too distracted to think about the grumpy other baby.
***
The grumpy baby was called Kurogane. He’d overheard his mummy saying so. And he’d tried to shove his building blocks on him to show him how absolutely delighted he was to meet him but Kurogane just knocked them all on to the floor and tried to push him again. Oh well.
He’d been busy trying to show Yuui how to knock over stuff with a toy truck when he realised, to his dismay, that Kurogane was trying to do the same to Yuui’s bunny. Crawling over, he’d tried to snatch up the teddy but Kurogane was a bigger baby than he was with bigger arms and that just wasn’t fair. Fye saw no other option but to brutally attack this other baby’s arm, grabbing it and shaking it and gnawing at it until he let his brother’s bunny go. However Kurogane didn’t quite seem to get the message and just shoved him over again. And because it was all just so unfair, Fye started bawling, scared the bigger baby would ruin his brother’s favourite toy. Before a grown-up could even come over, Kurogane had roughly thrown the bunny (and the tractor... ow) at him, seemingly displeased. When Fye grabbed up the baby bunny with a big, wide smile and crawled back to his brother, Kurogane shuffled towards the side and tried to find some more toys to play with.
***
Yuui was now obsessed with a dummy. He refused to take it out of his mouth and Fye had tried and Fye had cried over it but it wasn’t coming out and Fye was just going to have to live with it. He was busy pushing about a ball and he’d even figured out that if he pushed it to his brother, his brother could push it back unless they missed and then one of them would have to go find it and the other would get bored and start doing something else. So Fye was sitting on the floor clutching at a red ball and staring sadly towards his brother who was looking through another picture book. Then he turned over to look at Kurogane shaking a stuffed toy and decided he could try something far more fun.
At the time, he wasn’t sure what there was not to appreciate about being hit over the head with a ball but by the way this other kid was screwing up his face and starting to cry, he realised that it maybe wasn’t such a good thing. He crawled his way other and tried to clutch at his arm and shake him purely out of concern and confusion. The baby Kurogane didn’t seem too pleased about this either and quickly pushed him away but there wasn’t too much he could do about it because Fye then threw himself at him and started clinging like a limpet. And as much as he squirmed, he wasn’t going away. He smacked his tiny palm at Fye’s head, already covered in incredibly fine blonde locks. This did not seem to deter him. He kicked his little legs but the baby wasn’t going to move. He just blinked up to him with those ridiculously big, blue eyes like he was begging him not to be upset. After much pouting on Kurogane's part, he finally got bored and climbed off Kurogane to play with his brother.
***
The next time they were put together, Kurogane crawled over and hit Fye over the head with a tractor. He was instantly dismayed when Fye started howling because he really didn’t mean for that. He didn’t want the stupid other baby to cry. While Yuui crawled over and clasped at his brother to try to make him feel better, Kurogane grabbed the nearest teddy and moved back over with it. Fye’s eyes immediately blinked wide open and he reached out for it, making little ‘ah’ noises as he did so. Kurogane happily shoved it into his face and Fye gratefully squished his teddy.
After a while, Fye went back over to thank Kurogane for the teddy which involved persistently shaking a soft cloth at him and then trying to squish as much of Kurogane as he could. By then, Kurogane was much too tired to fight him off properly and just squirmed and smooshed his palm against his face a bit. With the other baby eventually defeated, Fye cuddled into him a bit and searched for his equally tiny hand. Kurogane made a very nice pillow when he was still.
***
Something awful was happening. Kurogane was standing up like the big people did. His knees shook a lot and his face was all screwed up in concentration but he was standing and he was trying to move like big people too. The twins sat and watched him for a while, staring curiously as their companion tried to walk until they got bored and started playing with blocks and shapes together. Their mothers still fawned over him a lot though. Even after the twins were done with their game, he was still wobbling on two feet but far more steadily.
After succeeding to make three steps on his own, Fye started growing scared and crawled over to him, lunging at his legs and throwing Kurogane off balance for the hundredth time that day. Now that he’d collapsed to the ground again, Kurogane started to get annoyed and kicked at Fye to let him go but the blonde baby was being stubborn again. All worn out from trying to walk, Kurogane couldn’t stay on the ground for very long without shutting his eyes and Fye gleefully crawling over to him and using him as a pillow.
***
Now that Kurogane could walk, he could move about a lot faster. As much as Fye tried to tail him, he could waddle over to the other side of the room in a baby run, only landing flat on his face occasionally. He’d run over to his mother and clamour for her attention.
Fye wasn’t too happy about all the time he was spending away from the twins. He made this clear by constantly making lunges at Kurogane and clinging to his legs for ages when he got the chance, babbling something between a heartfelt protest and a happy gurgle of glee. Only rarely did Kurogane not try to kick him off and when that time did come, Fye made the most of it and cuddled him for a while, absolutely delighted. He’d made this known by trying to eat Kurogane’s fingers. Unfortunately that just made Kurogane run away from him again, garbling something fairly annoyed and leaving Fye flat on the floor staring after him.
***
Kurogane probably grew too used to Fye’s attention. When he was asleep, he became very annoyed. He toddled over and dropped a brick on his head. But that just made him wake up and start crying again. Still, it seemed to get some kind of message through and for the next while, Kurogane made a point of waddling over and dropping something on the stupid baby’s head in the hope that Fye would finally learn his lesson. At that age, Kurogane wasn’t quite sure if that lesson was that he should leave him alone or that he should pay more attention to him. After several years, he still hadn’t.
Despite having had a full toy box dumped on his head after a week, Fye was usually only too happy to play with Kurogane and chase him about with his toys. A few times he went in a huff but this usually ended badly for both of them since then Kurogane would toddle over and try to push him over to show how much he loved him. And then would fall over and get upset again. If his brother wasn’t nearby then sometimes he’d start crying and Kurogane would just have to stand and pathetically pat the thin golden hair on his head or force a soft cloth into his little hands. Fye would then forgive him and go back to stubbornly cuddling his legs whenever he tried to move.
***
Yuui still had the dummy in his mouth but it was clear to see how excited he was by how wide his eyes were and how he was shaking his favourite book at his twin.
Smacking his palm against the book at a picture of a bunny, Fye had his face screwed up in concentration. “Ba...ba-ba...beeee-o...bababbbb...”
Kurogane was immediately sickened by the amount of attention Fye was getting for trying to say funny things and toddled away to play with a truck for a while.
When he’d gotten bored of trying to say things to his brother, Fye dragged the book over to Kurogane, opening it at his favourite page and hitting his hand off of hit excitedly as if encouraging Kurogane.
Whatever kind of message he was trying to send, Kurogane got annoyed with it and shoved him over again. After this had happened another three times, Fye had to concede that Kurogane couldn’t appreciate talent and neither did he want any so he crawled back over to his brother and started trying to pronounce things again. He waved a bunny about for a while, babbling, “Ba...baabbbbbbu......baba...” The fact that his brother seemed thrilled, clapping his hands a little, was enough encouragement to try saying other things too no matter how wrong.
He spent the rest of the day crawling about the room, pointing at things and garbling, “Mu..mammm...ggrrd...aaaaaaaa.....mi...mimmn..d...d...da...kko...gannnsjknhdivfhldsvdsnlgfvfdv.”
After a long and tiring day, he curled up in the corner with his brother and fell asleep, fist half-placed in mouth. This time, Kurogane couldn’t bring himself to smack him over the head.
***
Fye uttered his very first word the next day.
Sitting next to Kurogane and watching him build up a mini block tower before knocking it over again, he was still babbling and waving at things, eventually coming to point at Kurogane. "K-k... K-k-k-k...koo..kuw...kuw....oh..kk..." he tried.
Kurogane stopped what he was doing and turned to the other baby who was waving his arms determinedly at him, looking very happy and very frustrated at the same time. Kurogane quickly waddled over and flopped down in front of him with a worried face, looking as if he was about to grab him to shut him up.
"Kkk-uuuuu...kk-kkuw......," Fye tried. "Kk-k-k....uuu... k-kuuwwww............. Ducky!" He stopped with a grin.
Kurogane stared at him as though he was the most insane baby in the world.
"Ducky!" Fye said decisively and immediately fell forward to latch on to him, snuggling into him and repeating his new petname affectionately.
Kurogane was too startled to fight back.
***
Kurogane’s life ended the day Fye learned to walk.
He scurried around the corner and quickly ducked under the chair, trying to tuck his feet in and Fye came hurtling through to the room, delightedly and confusedly crying, “Duckeeeeeeeeeee.” He stopped in his tracks when he was unable to see a familiar glompable shape and his eyes grew wide, stumbling a little and looking about, fist partly in his mouth.
His brother followed him, half crawling and half tip-toeing and silently padded over to the seat where Kurogane’s baby shoes were poking out. He sat down and clutched at Kurogane’s feet as if to quietly alert his brother to the whereabouts of his beloved.
“Duckeeeeee~!” Now grinning, Fye hurried over and shuffled under the seat to wrap his arms about Kurogane and give him a big cuddle as much as Kurogane protested and tried to cram his hand into his face. “Ducky!” he said contentedly, gripping tighter as Kurogane writhed and wriggled.
***
All three of them were utterly entranced by the mirror, peering at it from all different angles.
Yuui was trying to hold a conversation with his alternative self and tilting his head this way and that, giggling shyly and toddling away with his fingers in his mouth. Fye was far more up front with his mirror self, pressing his hands and face against the glass and grinning, pecking the mirror self and opening his eyes wide when it reacted in just the same way as he did. He laughed a bit and watched Kurogane bash his hand against the glass angrily at his own figure because it just confused him. And because there was another Fye in the glass too.
But then he became much too occupied with his own Fye because he was wrapping his arms about him and trying to hug him again, clinging on to him adoringly. Tottering about a little, he even managed to give Kurogane a tiny kiss on the cheek too before Kurogane reciprocated and pushed him over, all huffy and angry and confused and in love, quickly toddling away before Fye could get back up.

a/n: Wtf, I don’t even like kids XD
Whhhhyyyyyy pairing?! Why must you be so violent? D8 If writing this has taught me anything, it’s probably that people don’t change...
The last bit is based on a video of me as a little thing in my grandad's coat being dragged up the stairs to go say hi to this other mysterious baby on the wall and give it a kiss :O
So... yeah I got bugged into writing this over after sending a little baby!Kurofye script over MSN and apparently it broke
teh_feeny's brain so she got me to write it x.x.... I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY.
baby fye: k-k-kk-k-kkk-k-kkuw-
baby kuro: o.o
baby fye: k-kkur....kuuuuw.....ducky!!! 8D
baby kuro: O<
baby fye: *huggle* DUCKY~ <3 8DDDD
baby kuro: =.=
In fact have some three year old Kurofye while I'm at it XD (I think I just fell in love with the idea of Kurogane being one of those kids who repeatedly pushes over the object of their affection)
***
They were three years old and playing hide and seek in the garden. Not that there were many places to hide in the garden and Yuui had already picked out three of the very best hiding places and was now using them repeatedly. As much as he tried, Kurogane was far too small to climb the tree so he made do with pushing past some of the bushes and hiding behind a bin.
Having memorised all of his brother’s hiding places, it didn’t take very long for Fye to start searching him out, running about the garden and giggling, coaxing his brother to come help him. And the traitor had seen which direction Kurogane had run in so he anxiously prodded Fye in the right direction and, once Fye had spied the rather large bins that could easily hide a little body, he was charging over and peeking behind them.
“Found you!” he cried delightedly and Kurogane grit his teeth and got to his feet, stomping out from behind and shuffling over to the grass.
“Ahahaha! Ducky is grumpy!” Fye immediately sang, having just learnt the word off his parents.
“AM NOT!” Kurogane yelled huffily even though he didn’t know what it meant.
Fye laughed again and clumsily leaned in to give him a chaste kiss on the lips.
For a moment, Kurogane’s brain had no idea what to do, no idea how to react to his very first kiss. However it soon caught up.
He shoved Fye over to the ground and spluttered, “YOU’RE STUPID AND YOU SMELL FUNNY!” with a bright red face, suddenly furious.
Fye still grinned up to him like he’d just been paid the biggest compliment in the world, beaming giddily and Kurogane eventually gave up and stomped off.

“Kuro and Fye are getting married,” Yuui stated as he drew, balloons and scribbles and flowers and hearts and a squiggle that was actually a dog. Next to him, his brother grinned a gap-toothed smile as though looking forward to their wedding.
“We are not!” Kurogane protested, bashing his fists against the table to make his point.
“But you’re in love with him!” Yuui argued, sounding upset his brother was being dumped.
“That's not to do with you! And I am not!” Kurogane snapped back, squishing his play-dough man. And then he felt bad because he liked Yuui and he didn’t want to yell at him.
“When are we going to get married, Kuro-ducky?” Fye asked rather gleefully from the other side of the table.
“We’re not,” Kurogane pouted, shaking his head and ripping his play dough apart.
“But Ducky gave me a kiss,” Fye muttered sadly, his bottom lip wibbling for effect. But Kurogane knew him well enough by now to know the kid was an actor and a drama queen.
“You gave me a kiss,” Kurogane snapped, scrunching up his face and smashing the dough against the table again.
“But you’re both in love so you’re getting married,” Yuui stated huffily as if that was that and there was no other way about it and this was clearly best for them.
Kurogane went in the huff with Yuui for a little while before Fye came over to draw with him, distracted both by how amazingly stupid his drawings were and by how astonishingly cute Fye was in drawing with him. Naturally, before it could even occur to him that he liked the little blonde twin, he'd ripped up half of his paper, called him stupid and gone in another huff.
"So mmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaann!" Fye whined, bashing him over the head repeatedly with a crayon as Kurogane tried to fight him off with a few flailing, floundering and startled punches.
