Fires on the road.

White cotton candy fluff and butter cream frost the cars, sidewalks, and trees. From a distance you can pretend it's anything until you exercise your legs through mixing it with dirt, slip & fall with the slush, and break your neck. I have a perverse liking to blood absorbed snow like random streaks of wild cherry syrup from a love affair come ( Read more... )

Dreams are such strange things... I had this really intense & poignant dream last night where I was talking to my dad and said "Still, it's sad how I relate everything to her..." and he looked at me and replied, calmly, "It will pass." A sense of comfort.

I woke up feverish with a throatache, and hope I just ate something wrong, because getting ill right before my finals would be rather unfortunate. I'm sorry to hear you're still struggling with that infection. xo♥

hmm...your dream almost sounds as if it is a message of closure. my dreams are always insanely odd. I'm writing again in my dream journal now. I think it's important to document these things & I look very deeply into them.

I am feeling much better though...but oh no, I hope you're not starting to get sick!

stay warm & cozy, hon. ♥

thank you, darling.

I've been consuming so much tea it seems I needed to take a break and traded in it for the wine, but I am slowly getting much better.....my throat is still a bit irritated. Tea is very good though, yes.

I was just checking my email & found my horoscope. It reminded me of something you'd written recently - at least one line.

Dear Roxanne,
Here is your horoscope
for Monday, January 24:

Why do anything alone when it's so much better with your favorite people? Right now the act of creation matters far more than what you create. Watching others work shows you that all's right with the world.

That's absolutely perfect!
Thank you for sharing it with me.

If you can get your hands on granulated ascorbic acid (pure vitamin c) and take it w/a small glass of juice (or something to camoflage the taste) every day, it might jump start you back to feeling better sooner. I can only find it at Whole Foods here...

despising the snow so much makes me feel old, since it requires the innocent type of appreciation that can only come from a child.
