You know what I love about Canada? I love that everyday, when we roll out of bed in the morning, we have no idea who the hell is running the country. I love that we can't even keep a government together for seven weeks. Any outside observer must be thinking, "Those Canucks need to put down the beer and Timbits long enough to carve some kind of ( Read more... )

LOL! Well, he might get it right like, 25% of the time. And who knows, he might electrocute Harper to death in the process!

Hopefully, Pikachu's "stimulus plan" will involve our furry PM going down to the TSX and thunder bolting everyone into buying more stock. ;D

Hahahaha! His free trade negotiations also involve zapping any CEO who moves jobs out of Canada. Watch out General Motors! His campaign slogan can be "Electric shocks for some, tiny Canadian flags for others!"

But Smitha, there's a certain Pikachu-related icon I was hoping you would use on this post...

His campaign slogan can be "Electric shocks for some, tiny Canadian flags for others!"

"And a bottle of ketchup in every home!"

I seriously think we need to get working on Pikachu's campaign. To underestimate this cuddly MP will have...shocking consequences!

Well, we would try that ice democracy idea of yours but really, isn't it more fun to have lolz-y elections every few months? Takes the mind off the impending collapse of good government as we know it. Besides, any minute now, Britain is going to admit that it was a mistake to kick us off the couch before we were ready to go; trust me, given enough time and begging, they'll remember how much fun it was having little colonies running around the house and how the pitter-patter of little subjugated lands warmed their hearts. :D

I think the problem with Canada is that we're still not over our parents Britain and France's painful divorce. They threw us into the wilderness, so young and innocent, so that they could focus on all their time on trying to seduce Spain. Bastards.

I kind of would like to France to come back just so we'll get a bazillion days off work under French law. ;)
