Well, I didn't die. However, I'm going to. I have to go back Thursday and get a meningitis shot because they're out ( Read more... )

So I just got stabbed in the WRIST, no less, which is one of the body parts that creeps my out like no other since you can SEE your arteries in it, for no reason WHATSOEVER.
We are definitely of one mind in this.

I'm glad. Tell me, do you ever, and I know this is weird, but say you're watching a movie or something, and a scene comes on with like an emo teenager, and they have a razor, and...okay, I really can't describe it because I'll freak, but...okay, so a scene like that comes on, and they SHOW what happens, and so you get freaked out. But, am I the only person in the world who has to protect her veins when this happens?

Like, I have to cover my wrist veins. And if I get really freaked, I also have to cover all my other major arteries. As in, I cover my neck with my hands, wrists pressed against each other in the middle so they're covered as well. Elbows bent tightly so my elbow veins are covered, and then knees curled up so behind my knee veins are covered. And then sometimes I have to stick my elbows on top of my feet to cover my foot veins too.

I know. I'm a freak. Just tell it to me straight.

During scenes like that, or even ones with normal needles going into a fleshy part, I feel the need to wrap my arms around myself and hide those wrists and the bends in your arm as much as physically possible. Yeah...definitely two of a kind we are!

Aww... Poor you! I'm just as bad as you are. Needles, wrists, blood, it all makes me shudder. I'm getting squeamish just reading this. Last shot I got I actually passed out. Yep. I feel for you.

Ohhhhh, I almost passed out once. Usually I manage not to because, and I'm not kidding, I go to my "happy place." Which consists of me, being magical, and attending Hogwarts.

God, I'm so pathetically obsessed.

Hooray! You didn't die from the shot! Your death would be missed. Not to mention; dying from a shot? LAME.

I can't believe you got stabbed in the wrist for no reason. That's like those suicidal emo's. I'd poke fun at you but I like you too much.

Minues 4 respect points for not using "Chessie Wheelies" by the way.

Dying from a shot would NOT be lame. It would be heroic. And it would also be absolutely agonizing.

I'm glad you like me, Cath. It makes me feel very warm and fuzzy inside.

Minus FOUR!!?? Nooooo!!! How might I earn them back!? I MUST EARN THEM BACK!

Which is why I won't be saying that I think FOUR is completely ridiculous and quite excessive

Alright, then, you get 4 respect points back for replying to my comment AND creating MOG!

Dying helping others = heroic. Dying from a shot = LAME. Do not argue with me on this matter, Holly papoose.
