Well, it sounds like you've been pretty busy with studies. So, work, school & writing on top of that is impressive.
Yeah, when I originally wrote the scene, she pulls away, but I thought it was somewhat weak. I rewrote it because I felt that Heather never really addressed her feelings for Edward, just shoved them onto the back burner while she was with Carlos. So I brought the unaddressed feelings to front temporarily. More messiness to ensue -- once I get Word back.
I know I'm late on my feedback, but this was an excellent chapter. I loved, loved, LOVED the fact that Heather's unresolved feelings for Beck came into play while she was kissing Carlos. I'm not much of one for "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with", so I was happy to see that, at this point in their relationship, Heather pulled away.
Of course, I'm rather blatantly biased, and I still don't know if Carlos is trustworthy (another reason I'm glad Heather pulled away - I don't want our girl hurt anymore. :) ).

Talk about a mood killer. But it makes me happy, of course.
Another fantastic chapter. :)
I need to leave some better feedback one of these days when I'm not just running in and out of the house.
