I have only one question...were the stray dogs nice? Or like...mean? I was wondering. x.x

I think they're nice...but the tour leader doesn't believe me.
They're just very skittish about being touched. As long as you don't act in a threatening manner they're quite happy to be around and do their own thing. The one I tried to pet was fine when I stroked it's head, but barked once and walked away when I attempted to scratch behind its ear like you'd do with an American domestic. ::shrugs::

I think it's really the beauty of the landscape. I couldn't take them and not come out with such lovely results. 360 degrees of wonder.
