I got it a couple of years ago in a shop in Evesham that sells lots of gadgets. Sorry, I can't remember it's name.

Oh!

I got the exact same camera about a month and a half ago. It's really rather nice. And so amazing with double A's. I used only regular double A's from the end of December up until the middle of January and the replaced them with another pair, and still have them. Though they're almost dead. It's nice to finally have a camera thats great with batteries.

Watch the lens! It can get murky. Just a little tiny drop of water (condensation ... rain, snow? something) got on mine and now on and off it likes to fuck with things.

It's great for fooling around though. I'm liking the kids setting. I wish they hadn't discontinued the A510 though before I had a chance to upgrade. Video with audio but still Canon ... dude that would have been awesome. Oh well ...

Thanks for the tips, it's great to hear from someone else who has it. I'll watch out for water near the lens! I've just bought some rechargable batteries and so I'm looking forward to them lasting a while, the worst thing about our old camera was the battery life.

It's so teeny tiny I can't stop holding it. And so much lighter too!
