went and saw batman last night. It was awesome. Heath Ledger played an amazing joker. He became the joker and everything I ever imagined him to be through all my own years of reading batman comic books.

Plus it had lots of action and explosions (always fun)

Great movie. Go see it.

We loved it too. It was the first movie we've seen since having Gwen - and it was totally worth it! Heath Ledger was truly, truly creepy. Very awesome movie.

I have to agree; Ledger really nailed The Joker down whilst adding his own quirks to it, thus raising the bar for performing that character.

I wrote a huge post on the implied metaphors brought out in the film. (http://the-vulture.livejournal.com/127292.html) For all the action and special effects, I'm really glad that Nolan focused on making this a cerebral film.
