With the release of "Dusk and Summer" Chris Carabba as Dashboard Confessional has released another stunning album which will further polarize acoustic/dashboard fans from electric/dashboard fans. Yeah. I give it a 3.5 /5. He cant seem to hit the high notes anymore without some stress in his voice. That's the only thing I can tell. Another thing is, alot of the songs have the same beat and that gets old. I miss Chris's solo days, but this album isnt horrible, it could be worse. But it definately shows that he is considering his band 100% now.

i've yet to here the cd but i really want to. i've always been a dashboard fan... as well as his further seems forever cd "the moon is down" fan. maybe his lack to hit the high notes may be that purhaps he's not using his voice machine anymore. apparently he used to refuse to play without his voice machine that helps his voice sound better/hit higher notes (i think). but what do i know? thats just the word around town about the machine
