The weather today was ridiculous. Last night there was a ton of freezing rain, so this morning everything was covered in ice. And I mean everything. There was half an inch of ice, at least, on nearly everyone's car and the sidewalks were so hard and ice-y that I could just walk on top of it, I didn't sink in. A couple weeks ago I asked about fixing my mom's pearl necklace, and I ended up taking it to Ben Moss in St Laurent. It spent 115$ with tax, and it took about.. 2 weeks. Boring weekend. Friday night I went to Place with Kayla, reluctently, and only bought bracelets I don't even really like that cost way too much. I then went to Kaylas where we baked cookies that didn't turn out as expected. I came home and haven't been out of the house since. It is now Sunday afternoon. Long day today. It was the last swim practice of the season, and it was super easy. We had a warm-up, then did some relays/sprints (I only swam once) and then the lifeguards opened the slide for us and that was pretty fun. Then I had to go to school, which is okay I guess. Grandpa almost died yesterday. It didn't really hit me until, get this, english class. I knew what happened, Mom told me. I spoke to Grandma and Auntie Cindy yesterday too, but that was after he was comming home.
