I had an intercambio last night with Luis, a guy from Nicaragua. We spent 1.5 hours talking in Spanish and it was really fun. damn, I love that language. I'm feeling ultra-fluent this week because I had an oral for my convo class and the convo last night, plus I'm writing gads of papers in espa~nol. This afternoon there was this whole incident with my African Violet flowers. I've had 'em for around 3 years, but I've recently noticed that they're in the process of dying. While I was at class, the kitty tried to communicate with the outside world. She tried to send an away message: ",kmmllllllllllllllllllll,mlk......................."

I kid you not. She was CLEARLY telling the outside the world that she wanted mlk, or Milk. It's just that her spelling isn't that great. After all, she IS a cat.

Nothing like stepping out of a refreshing morning shower just to see the top of the toilet spewing water all over the place. In the length of my shower (which wasn't THAT long), the water filled up the bathroom, got several feet into my room, got around the wall and into the living room up to chrissy's door, and all the way into the kitchen.
