Don't let it get you down, Jessicer. Standardized tests are "teh suck" (to put it into scenester-speak), and we all know that they aren't a good test of actual intelligence. You are one of the smartest, most intelligent, eloquent people I know, so don't be upset about a stupid practice test.
Also, we're all going to be your friends no matter what the GRE says, and we're all pretty durn smart, right?

I guess what I'm trying to say is: You am smart!

standardized test prove nothing, well they do prove how good one is at taking standardized tests. but that does not mean much in the vast scale of humanity and good person-ness. buck up chipper sally its only practice, and practice makes perfect right? wow i bet you are gonna think i am an idiot when you read this, lol.

Well, clearly the ability to make a pop culture reference no matter the time or place or the ability to come up with a creative meanie name for a dude in a striped shirt was not taken into account here. You should mention that to them when you go on your grad school interviews.

Don't forget that the percentile is out of those going on to grad school. You are not in that percentile for all humans--just among a select subset. If you really still want grad school, you should take one of those classes. They boost the score on average. I had a friend from Russia who beat me on the verbal (despite her shit English and math/physics background) just by studying her ass off. The math won't much matter, but the verbal and written are key.

practice tests are harder than the real one. dont fret. besides, you are attractive, intelligent and friendly. i cant vouch for the working in an office thing or the athletic thing of course - but you dont want to work in an office and performing athletics and not getting paid for it is lame. you may not be optimistic right now but keep practicing on that test. you'll do great.
