[At the front yard of the residence of 1763 Beaver Street, there will be a familiar teenager seen grilling steaks, chicken, hot dogs and other kinds of meats and dressed appropriately for the weather conditions. Granted just a simple steak should do it, but he had this feeling that as soon as people come to notice, they will probably ask for ( Read more... )

[February 14th; the day that she had learned to be modern culture's festival of love. She had been anticipating this day, enthusiastic even, planning to wake up in the morning to go buy chocolate to gift to the people of her esteemed household. Instead, an unexpected surprise soured her mood. It seems as if some memories popped into her mind, and she since she didn't remember herself to have said memories before, she would have passed it off as a dream. However if she told herself that if she was going to have a dream of that nature, it would've been someone she at least had some physical attraction to, but the person wasn't anyone of the sort, an old lover, her wife or even her Master. As it stands, her partner in said memories was some insignificant boy who she only remembered to be someone who claimed he was her twin's Master in one of the previous Wars ( ... )

[And sure enough, once he heard her voice and that chilling tone that made him nearly shiver, Shirou will slowly glance over his shoulder to see whom it was. That ahoge, that face and... that chest. Granted, this is not the Saber he had made a pact with at first, she is still the Saber that he remembered in his dreams.

What was meant to be a surprise to her, Shirou could instantly tell that scowling look on her face was not a good sign. So, he just took a plate from the side and placed a steak that is shaped like a heart on it and offered it too her.

If she is anything like the Saber he knew, this is surely the best way to get her to her better side and she would appreciate it.]

I would hope so, since this is for you, after all. I did my best to prepare things just the way you like it.

[She paused, and shot him an incredulous look.

[She couldn't stop herself from laughing. Who did he think she was? Some roadside whore? Why, if such an event had happened in her life, she'd probably execute him for attempting to mock her.]

Surely you jest! Something so crude... so boring... so cheap could not be further from something that could impress me!

Wha-- oh, hi there.

[Shirou glances down to see what had brushed against his legs to see the cat-like... thing. Apparently it seemed a little friendly enough, so it must be a pet to one of the other people that lived here. He cut off a small bit of meat and then squatted down so he could offer the creature a small piece.]

Where did you come from, little guy? Did your master leave you wandering around? Can't be good idea in a weather like this though... wonder if there is any tags on you?

[Now hearing that voice definitely startled him. Oh god, it was like a cold chilly feeling worse than the snow around him. The snow itself was a lot warmer than the feeling he just felt right now.

He was on his way to prepare a decent western meal for the person he remembered having an affair with only to hear the very girl he was in a relationship and cheating on.

Nothing could prepare Shirou for this. Nothing Shirou can do to backpedal anything at this point. He slowly turned his head to see where the voice came from, just hoping that it isn't who he thought it could be-- oh balls, it is.]

Toh... saka?
