I think about how long it's been since I've updated my poor blog. At just 5.5 years old, I've all but given up on it. Cheap gas!!!
Because of my savvy in shopping at Tom Thumb during the last few months, I had (10) 10 cent off a gallon rewards to use.
Hence - filling up my tank for just over $6.

Good tidings...
I've got so much to catch up on, but I think I may just call December a break from Livejournal. Thanksgiving went well, most of my Christmas shopping is done, we've begun the home improvement process, I really can't complain about anything. Notwithstanding the GM bailout. Ugh.
I will not go in to how I'm disgusted that I have to pay for other people's crap. All I'll say is that I have worked hard all of my life, and some programs were meant with good intentions, but are just abused these days. In the rare event there were not enough reasons to think the world is going to hell in a handbasket, the man who had a baby last summer is now pregnant again. I wonder if he has a job, or if I am paying for this guy to have children girl baby machine.
Hopefully they kept all of their baby paraphernalia from the first one. male pregnancy is grossFINALLY.
Well, Allison and I have been talking for months about looking for some furniture, paint samples, etc. in order to bring the not even that old of a house into 2008. The decor and theme of the previous owners wasn't really our taste, and we've just been putting off doing anything about it.
