I fucking love V For Vendetta, but I haven't read the books. And while I love Watchmen, I'm not exactly an Alan Moore fan (didn't think The Killing Joke was as amazing as everyone else did, and Lost Girls and The League of Extrordinary Gentlemen are oth pretty dumb ideas). The only minor flaws that I could bring up about the movie is that the action is stunt men waiting to be hit and the Creedy character is kinda weak. But really... I thought it was amazing. It's not an action film, it's just wonderful. And I think it's the Wachowski's best written film (it's not better than the matrix, it's just better written). So I don't know. I can't compare to what I haven't read, but I can't imagien getting as pissed at the movie. And I'm glad Evey wasn't a prostitute, that's dumb.
