In the essay "Nothing Come To Think About It" by Carol Caley the author uses aposiopesis, as well as a mixture of end-stop lines and enjambent, which builds upon the imagery in the passage to create a feeling of insanity. The way that sentances randomly end and begin, when added to the mixture of end stop lines such as "I am perplexed." and enjambent, leaves the reader wondering what the hell is going on. Then the way that the author states "I started thinking about girls i see in the hallways" makes the reader begin to think of complex issues that such a confused, trobled teenager might encounter. Following this statement with the end of the passage draws the readers attention back to the begining and the line "im going insane" which brings the entire work together.

Wow. I was so excited for summer that I wore shorts on REALLY cold days, definately worth it.
And I definately agree that girls who go to great lengths to be perfect, granted they DO look great, but it's a little ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I can handle un-groomed people.
