Standing Brooms

A friend of FaceBook and her husband have been talking about how on certain days (such as yesterday), the planets are in alignment in such a way that you can stand a broom on its bristles. They took pictures of all their brooms standing upright in the middle of the kitchen, and their friends took pictures of their brooms, and it was a little freaky

Pshaw. Try it anyway. Some of her friends' pictures were specifically from non-level mobile homes.

The only way to prove that it has nothing to do with planetary alignment is to keep trying to stand the broom on its bristles every day for a month or two. I know you're up for that kind of dedicated science. Aren't you? Bwahahaha

Hmm. Would just leaving it standing count? Then when it falls over, we know one of the planets moved. ;-)

That wouldn't do it. You'd have to try to stand it up again. A real test would be several weeks in a row. Two points make a line and 3 or more points make a pattern. Better to go for the paisley.
