Still no internet in the bloody flat. But it will be taken care of this week. Yay! I always feel guilty when hogging the uni PCs longer than 5 minutes after I finished checking my eMails.

So I returned to Marburg last night and - the phone didn't work!
The internet didn't either.
Fortunately, the phone somehow sorted itself out this morning (maybe the plug-wiggling I did last night helped), but the internet is still being a bitch. And the keyboards at uni-computers suck monumentally. -
Some culture. Because I feel like it.
You can usually tell the focus of a culture from the vocabulary of its language.
I could go into the whole eskimos and countless words for snow thing, but everybody knows that, and I feel like furthering your classical education. So I'm going to pick the Romans.
Their culture was hugely based on warfare and agriculture, and their vocabulary in these ( Read more... ) -

- I wanted to go riding, but it's raining. Not much, granted, but the horsy is now wet, and we can't have a saddle put on a wet horsy, can we? Ouch.
