You make a good point about the timing being against Finn not being Giles. But couldn't the Prison have assembled Giles as a fully grown human being, rather than a baby? It certainly assembled an adult body for itself...
Yes, that's what I meant-sorry if that wasn't clear. The Prison would have had to assemble him as a fully grown adult as Finn had only been in the Prison for like... three years, I think? But even then, the time frame seems tight; doesn't it take the Prison some time to churn out mashed-potato-people? Giles would have had to die, like, the first day he was there (and of what?) and get reassembled right away into something that was at least 99% Giles-parts... and he still has his memories, which seems weird to me. And then he can get out with the Key, even though everything else made by the Prison can't. I just can't see how it could have happened.
