I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo incredibly jealous, we're in the middle of a HUGE cold snap - I was only outside for 5 minutes without gloves on and got frost bite!!!
No sweating in your bed is sooooooooooo not fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, it's not late, it's pretty much on time. December/January/February are usually the coldest months for us and we usually get the MASSIVE cold snap in January - although this year we've been experiencing the odd fluctuation between FREEZING, FREEZING cold and blizzards and extremely mild "T-shirt" weather and rain back to FREEZING, FREEZING COLD within days of each other. PLUS we've had way more then usual the dump of snow this year so this year hasn't been normal!!!!!!
We were into the 50s (F) last week and green things are coming up out of the ground. This week it's a bit colder (39 currently). Oregon is always kind of weird in the winter, but it's so cool to think of y'all down under having such hot weather in January!
Tunnels in the snow sounds very fun!!!!! but probably not practical for getting groceries or going to work...
Yeah Ive heard that brownouts/blackouts happen in New York because of air con use!!!! We dont actually get them here, not that I remember. That would be awful in the heat!
I was looking for a bucket of ice water last night definitely! It was still about 36 degrees at about 10pm - i couldnt sleep!
