I *know*!!! The splatter is... I can't like it (though I can see how it would help sell the show, sadly), but I managed to overlook it because the rest is so good.

I was also blown away by Lucy Lawless who is apparently a brilliant actress underneath all that B-level Xena...

I haven't seen the prequel yet but I think it's okay - however the sequel has been airing here and it was friggin' unwatchable because of the guy they brought in to look like original!Spartacus. I know the end of Spartacus Blood & Sand calls for a sequel, but they should have written the Spartacus character out of it. Andy Whitfield was irreplacable.

Yes! And the blood splatter happens sometimes when they get a blunt instrument to the back hahaha not sure why

Yes! Lucy is amazingly evil and also... loveable! Thats a hard character to make sympathetic (at times)

Oh no! Im really excited to see what happens after they leave!
