Oingo Boingo's "Only a Lad" has consumed me, so much that I can't listen to more than the first 3 tracks of the new Sigur Ros without having the urge to listen to the funk and beauty that is Oingo Boingo. Listen Nico, I have to get tired of listening to Oingo Boingo before I can dive into the new Sigur Ros. To me they're both on the same level... and I know you must be disgusted haha

Though I still think Sigur Ros is boring I do agree with you that the majority of the indie world is pretentious and shitty.
It's like people use the word indie as an excuse for making shitty music..most of it is really just fucking bad.

I've been listening to this band Slithering Beast a lot lately, though unless you like country songs about getting robbed, drunk driving, and stealing cadillacs I'm not sure if you'd be into it.
