I got a letter from my mother today. She said she got me a Christmas present - which I wasn't expecting. So she also says I'm supposed to come home for the holidays in order to get it.
She gave me a hint as to what it was and I can't believe she did this. She got me a book... I'm going...I'm not going to be here for the holidays. No drama for however long I'm there and no stupidity.
I'm going to see Wicked. Me of all people! And not the off broadway tour group. My mother bought tickets to go see the actual broadway performance! She said we can hit up a few of the other plays and sent me a copy of the New York Times' art and theatre section and...god there are so many!
I think I'll see Avenue Q as well while I'm there if we can actually get tickets. I hear it sells out quickly.
It's a shame that Once on this Island isn't on broadway still. That would be a worth while musical to see, but they have Beauty and the Beast, Chorus Line and Chicago! Les Miserables is still on Broadway as is Phantom of the Opera..but I'd rather see some of the lesser known ones.
...It's strange that my mother would spend so much on me but I...well at least she knows my weakness.
Hmn...now how to cover this up so no one knows why I was dancing.
I'm leaving you fools behind for the winter break. I hope you have a wonderful time without me around.
[[ Yes Axel practically danced when he opened the small package for the novel "Wicked" in Slyterin common room. He might be humming the music from Wicked down the halls so feel free to notice. Plus? He won't care if you catch him under mistletoe. He's way too happy to care xD ]]
