For Ginny- 8 o' clock in the library

Aug 08, 2005 18:11

Blaise tapped his quill anxiously on his potions text book. If he was honest he was only doing this to frustrate the littleist Weasley, but he would be severely pissed off if she didn't show.

Slytherins could not be shown up

Ginny smirked to herself, walking slowly to the library. She'd be late, but she'd show. It's not like she even wanted to be there. Who would? Ginny Weasley studying with Blaise Zabini. Wait till Ron hears about this...

Finally, she turned into the library and her smirk widened when she spotted Zabini at a table in the back, looking aggitated and obsessivley tapping his quill on his book.

She did not walk any faster when he realized she was approaching, loving every second of making him more angry.

At last she swung her bag off her shoulder and onto the table and took a seat across from Blaise and sat back in her chair, satisfied. "Am I late?"

Blaise glared at her sneaky apperance he had of course noticed her coming. Of course.

"No Weasley, right on time. Books out then."

He grabbed her book off the table and peered at the page marked,

"And can you actually brew that potion, Weasley?"

Ginny ignored his question.

"This," she said, snatching her book out of Blaise's hands, "is mine. That," she said, nodding toward his own book lying in front of him on the table, "is yours."

She pulled out a piece of parchment that had the beginnings of her Potion essay scribbled on it, a quill, and a bottle of ink.

She opened her book to page 619 and continued writing her essay. After a moment, she looked up to find Blaise watching her.

"What?" she snapped.

Blaise held up his hands in innocence and leaned over the table slowly to take his book. He lay it in front of him and with deliberately languid movements dug his hand into hiss bag and extracted an ink bottle.

He undid the squeaky top painfully slowly, not before cracking his knuckles.

"Oh, really?" she asked, glaring at him. "Why is that?"

"Well," Blaise shifted slightly, "constructive critisicm, but, dillywheat isn't used to cure severe itching of the inner groin."

Ginny stared beadily at him for a moment before she burst out laughing.

Still chuckling she said, "Right, right of course. Anything else I need to change?"

Blaise grinned and scanned her essay, before looking up at her,

"Perfect."
