Thank you, writer, for writing this amazingly written story for me. I adore the calmness of it: the fact that nothing is rushed or feels like it needs to be more "exciting." It was all so very Yusuf, and exactly why I love him being in love, especially considering the kind of ships you find elsewhere in this fandom. And your take on Ariadne is lovely: it's always been important to me that a character becomes weathered if they are in a tough job, and you handled that perfectly. Thanks, writer, for being awesome!

I love this story. It is so simply brilliant and uncomplicated! I loved Yusuf creating the map for Ariadne and the fact that she left behind clothes and IDs. This tidbit, for some reason, is what is resonating with me and refusing to leave my head:

And then, one day, it falls from his hand and blows out an open doorway, and he has more important things to do than to chase paper down the street.

That is so vivid in my mind and I can't honestly detail why exactly but I think it has something to do with how Yusuf let it go instead of clinging helplessly to what is, literally, just a piece of paper. I like the uncomplicatedness of that -- he kept it, treasured it, but didn't obsess over it and let it go after a suitable period. :)

Thank you so much for sharing this!
