Eames is a famous gymnast, Arthur is a huge fan of his who admires his work and wants to be a gymnast because of him, but who also has fantasies about him. One day Arthur runs into Eames, but almost doesn't recognize him because of the facial hair. Turns out Eames is opening up a gymnastics school in the neighborhood.

Wow, I know next to nothing about gymnastics and this might sound silly but thank you for "broadening my horizons" with this story. The development so far has been so enjoyable, horny teenager Arthur is so very interesting and awkward, Ariadne is a great sidekick and all those little moments with Eames are delicious (especially when you can't help but read just a bit more into them).

O man! I totally remember Alexei Nemov. I was mere child, but my sister had a HUGE crush on him.

Saturday after next, Arthur gets up early but doesn’t go for his jog. Instead he packs his gym bag and showers quickly, frowning at his hair in the mirror while he brushes his teeth. It’s falling forward into his eyes more than normal, it’s so overdue for a haircut. Arthur’s not stupid... he knows it makes him look all of thirteen, and usually he doesn’t really care. He rakes his fingers through it, tries to tousle it into something attractive rather than juvenile, and sighs when he fails ( ... )

“Hello, Arthur,” Eames says, right as he sets his palms firmly against the small of Arthur’s back to support him while he rolls backwards.

In that instant, Arthur really wishes Eames would stop saying his name, because it’s fucking distracting. Not quite as distracting as the warm imprint of his hands that Arthur can still feel on his lower back like a brand, but distracting enough. “Hi,” he says, meeting Eames’s eyes, because he’s not a baby and he can handle this like an adult. Smooth and in control, those are his middle names.

Eames’s eyes when he smiles make Arthur feel anything but smooth and in control. But he keeps trying anyway ( ... )
