Some fandoms have universes where everyone is evil. (Star Trek, I'm looking at you and leering beneath my mustache.) In Inception, our characters are all criminals; invasive, mind-raping thieves. So what if there were a universe where they are all sweet, law-abiding citizens?

And what if Eames (our Eames, of forgery and general dangerousness) should find himself in such a universe? What if he encountered Mal and Dom Cobb, PTA parents? And what if he discovered Arthur, a mild-mannered music teacher with no defenses against the suave, dangerous man who has shown up on his doorstep?

Does this world have no Eames? What if our Eames meets his alternate as well? Awkwardness would ensue...

For some reason the movie "Pleasentville" comes to my mind. Eames is trying to "wake everyone up" and cause chaos.

I really like this prompt.
