Arthur is married to a powerful woman, but it's strictly for business reasons. Eames is his bodyguard who takes his duties to guard Arthur's body very seriously and seduces him. Repeatedly. Only his real job is that he's a MI5 agent and in the US to gather information about Arthur's wife. Basically I want Bond!Eames.

I heart this very much... It makes me think of bertie and stella in rocknrolla which makes me very happy... love how perceptive yet inscrutable eames is... thanks for sharing :)

[a/n: thank you all for the comments. i just got my wisdom teeth pulled and i really needed the pick-me-up. also re: the part above, the arabic arthur speaks in is spoken levantine; the arabic eames speaks in is formal "fus-ha."]After the Friday that Eames abducts him Arthur makes a point of going into the office every day as usual, with Eames coming in the same car as Fiona and him to work. Eames rides in the front next to Fiona's bodyguard-driver, the pairs separated by sound-proof glass ( ... )

Them both speaking Arabic is gorgeous, it curls my toes to read! Poor Arthur, all that lovely manbody to look at and not touch :-(

They always speak French which is useful enough. But I decided to go for something a little more exotic to fit the security bg. Also the last time I really spoke French I was a kid, so...got a bit more confidence in the Arabic. Also don't worry, there will be touching......

Arthur is so tired when he gets home, head pounding with all the figures and phone calls he took, that at the door he holds his key out to Eames carelessly.

“You open it,” he sighs, eyes closing.

Eames smirks but doesn't lift a finger. “That's not part of my job description.”

Across from him Arthur’s eyes snap open and his face rearranges itself into incredulity. “You do plenty of things ‘not in your job description.’ You got me tissues, you help me work-out, and you are even semi-helpful at the office.”

And all of this is true. When Arthur was sick Eames went shopping, picked up used tissues, and kept Arthur away from the stove. Almost every night now he helps Arthur through a work-out routine, offering pointers and encouragement. Even at work he'll fetch files or multi-task when Ariadne is busy, though it does take Eames forever.

Pretending to think, Eames strokes his own face. Arthur finds himself staring at his stubble, the light scratch he can hear from the contact louder than any honking outside their building. He shakes ( ... )
