Ah, I have to admit, I've never written fanfiction before. HOWEVER, I adore Yusuf, and I adore kitties, and it seems my inception mania is never going to leave me, so, here you are OP :3

Yusuf blames his manic love of animals on his childhood, for the most part. He grew up in the markets of Mombasa, where most animals were strays, and dogs and cats were no better than the scavenging birds that left droppings all over the city. His mother personally abhorred animals.
