Community changes, please read carefully.

In response to community member comments and feedback, we're introducing updates and additions. It is incredibly important for all members to fully read through this post.

New Prompt Post System

After hearing your opinions on our current prompt post set-up, we’ve boiled down the problems to:
  • Prompt posts fill up and close too quickly.
  • Prompt posts fiill up so quickly that it’s become overwhelming to sift through everything at once.
  • Prompt posts close so quickly that a new bunny a few days later doesn’t make it by the mod cut-off comment.
  • There is too much time in between prompt posts.
  • Post opening times don't vary consistently enough for fans around the world.
To solve these issues, we’ve taken cue from an anon suggestion in our last poll post. Our new prompt post system is as follows:
  • Prompt posts will temporarily close to new prompts at 2000 comments.
  • Forty-eight hours later, posts will reopen to new prompts and temporarily close again when 4000 comments are reached.
  • Forty-eight hours later, posts will reopen to new prompts and permanently close to all new prompts when 5000 comments are reached.
  • A new prompt post opens a week later.
Also, from now on mods will announce the date and time of an upcoming round in the final cut-off comment.

New Meme Rules and Reminders

Warnings/Bannings
The mods of inception_kink have zero tolerance towards prompts and comments containing personal attacks on other community users and private individuals, bullying, and hate speech.

Signed in members who violate this rule will first receive a warning and their comments will be frozen/screened. The second violation will result in banning of that member from the community.  Anon comments violating this rule will be deleted. If your comment is frozen/screened/deleted and you're unsure why, if will be up to you to contact a mod.

Finally, plagiarism has no place here. if a member plagiarizes, they will immediately be banned from the community. We will elaborate on this further in a follow-up post.

Prompt Posts
New Rule: If your prompt is missing something, such as a subject or a warning, repost it in it’s entirety. It is not enough to reply to your own comment with the missing information. The mods will delete the previous duplicate comment. Relatedly, if your prompt does not have enough information to archive it in delicious, it is breaking this rule and will be deleted.

New Rule: All prompts are open to fills at all times, even if they have been filled in the past or are being currently filled by someone else. Multiple fills are positively encouraged; if something appeals to you then do not be put off creating a new fill by the existence of a prior one.

Reminder: Prompting rules must be followed. If a comment doesn't have an actual prompt in it, it will be deleted. For example, the following are not acceptable and would be deleted:

We need more femslash on this meme! Give me some hot femslash!
Reason: Asking for a particular kink alone does not constitute a prompt. A search of Delicious using the femslash (or other kink, pairing or scenario tag) is more appropriate. A prompt also needs to include a pairing, or if the prompter has no preference Other/Other, and some indication of the scenario or other story elements they would like included.

Mal/Saito I just want to read these two together.
Reason: Asking for a particular pairing alone does not constitute a prompt. Again, a search of Delicious will show all the currently tagged prompts and fills for this pairing. Prompters should check Delicious before posting new prompts to prevent duplicates appearing, as these will also be deleted.

Reminder: Duplicated prompts are not allowed and will be deleted.

Fill List
The fill list post is for fills only, not feedback. Comments that do not contain fills and random comments will be deleted. As with prompt comments, if your fill is missing information (missing subjects are the most common) or if your html is fudged it will be deleted. Repost such fills.

Old Prompt Rounds
Clean up of rounds 1-3 will begin shortly. This will include deleting random comments, like those that second prompts ("want!") or discuss subjects unrelated to the fandom/prompts. Community users are encouraged to go back to those posts to fill old prompts and to offer feedback for old fills which they have enjoyed.

Lastly, please take a look at our long-standing Rules Post and our Guide to Warnings. Questions and comments? Post them here.

We'll be testing out our new system next week: Round 11 will open on November 30 at 1 AM GMT.

Thanks everyone!
