I freely admit that I'm a sucker for fics where John or Rodney were straight (or felt they couldn't admit to having "those kind" of feelings) before falling in love/lust with the other. Oh, this is awesome! I adore Straight!Fic. It's my personal canon that Rodney self-identifies as straight (despite possible sexual experience with other guys). And while I find it harder and harder to think of John as straight, I still enjoy those stories for the journey that the characters take.

Yeah, my personal canon is similar. And while I have some difficulty seeing John as straight, I can completely buy him being *so* repressed that he has no real awareness of his attraction to men. But of course, I'm willing to buy pretty much anything with a good author. :)

And I'm always glad to spread the word on such marvelous stories. :)

Yea! My favorite kinds of rec lists are those that include both fic I haven't read in awhile and things I've never read, so I'm glad this list worked for you.
