She asked for my number one day during break at class, I gave it to her. She called me once and invited me to go for coffee right then and there. I told her I couldn't leave work. Then I sent her 5 text or voice messages over the course of a month or so and she never responded.

My logic is that there is nothing good that can come out of sending that magical sixth text or call to someone who is non-responsive. I think keeping it up is stalker-ish. If someone doesn't want to talk to me, ignoring me is a good way to make that happen.

How can you offend someone by not leaving work to have coffee with them? She probably went back to her shitty ex-boyfriend between the time she asked you out for coffee and when you called her back. I've done that. Girls are terrible people.

Thank you! I think it is beautiful. I haven't used it yet. I would have to drink a lot of tea to use it, unless I am having a tea party, and I've never had one of those.

Yes, a tea party is pretty much necessary for a pot like that. And, as I am the queen of tea parties, I am over here with a giant erection wishing I had such a pot.

You could always fill it with long island iced tea and make everyone drink it out of teacups.
