I knew who was reading, I'd get great feedback...it was a really great girlfriend that I left behind for blogs, Tumblrs, Facebooks

I get attacked by Spambots A LOT, but, and I guess this is kind of my point, I felt closer to the people on here. Facebook, Tumblr, etc...I feel so distant. I almost think that those sites (and I use them daily, so I'm not swearing them off) encourage distance and detachment. That's the thing I always liked about LJ...I knew who was reading, but more importantly, I knew who cared because the folks that cared were folks that I care/cared about.
