Might not be a bad idea for you to take a multivitamin, like a one-a-day or centrum. How ever, it might also not be a bad idea for you to ask your doctor about this. Headaches aren't always just headaches, and if it was that absolutely bad, and you don't normally have migraines, it might be worth checking out.
So long as it doesn't happen again, I'm chalking it up to a one-off. I've been sleeping a little more poorly than usual the last couple of days, and my sleep schedule has finally slipped since I've been unemployed (it took a while, but I've been staying up too late and being in bed too long in the morning the last week or two). Hopefully getting back on a regular schedule and not being quite as preoccupied about not having work will put things to rights. Being firmly among the uninsured means there really aren't any 'just in case/just to check' doctor visits in my life.
If it was that debilitating, it sounds more like a migraine than a headache to me. I'd recommend checking it out with your doctor, just to make sure.
If it's not a migraine, chances are it's caused by the sudden change in your diet. If you suddenly cut out fatty foods, portions, and stimulants like caffeine after having them routinely, it CAN through your body into shock. The fact that you're a) drinking more water and b) craving something like eggs makes me think it's dietary related as well, but don't quote me fully on that. I work at an allergy doctor's office, not a dietician's.
But it can never hurt to take vitamins. Just... try not to use the Tylenol TOO much. They use it in hospitals, and if you build up a high tolerance you'll be screwed should you ever need it in an emergency situation.
Well, she could be right. I just know that apiaceae is stuff with feathery leaves and little flowers, like Queen Anne's lace, carrots, celery, etc. :) I guess hemlock is in the same family.
A craving for eggs sounds like your body wants protein... and I agree with your first comment about not going to the doctor unless debilitating headaches start becoming more regular.
Also, FYI, our bodies only build up calcium and bones until about the age of 25. Then it starts to slowly deteriorate. So people 25 and up should especially make sure to get calcium in some form to make sure you don't develop osteoporosis or similar problems later in life.
