We understand the circumstance you have been through and the hardships you have endured. We accept that due to circumstances outside of your control you have not only been absent from us, but have been unable to contact us. We recgonise the limitations upon you at social occasions and feel great just by your presence, rather than any level of alcohol that you imbibe.
Thank you for being alive and part of our lives.
We have missed you and welcome you back.
Your darling wonderful gorgeous precious fabulous friends.
Why are we allowed to forget these things? Why are we allowed to take good health forgranted?
I'm the living reminder for my family. Nearly died at birth. Major surgery with 50% of death-on-operating-table as a child, twice. Allergic to garlic sunlight. Alcohol interferes with keep-blood-clots-from-forming-on-artificial-heart-parts medication. Oh, and genetically predisposed towards liver failure if I do drink alcohol.
Still, they do offer me garlic bread and ask if I'd like a beer...
Awareness of possibility is one thing, but sometimes we need to forget. Otherwise I don't know if I could get out of bed some mornings ;)

I hope you get better soon, and find a course you enjoy.
I recently threw in the towel on my course, looking for full time work at the moment.
I hope we can catch up soon, I will be moving closer to perth soon so when that happens we'll go out for dinner and drinks with Sharon
your long time friend
