No one is quite sure how to answer this question, I mean it's different for every person, so I will leave you with this: When you have pleased as many ladies as I have, I don't need to lick, all I need to do is send them a look and it's all over.

I remember at SMASH when I was just learning a lot of Saul Williams poems (MAN that guys friggin amazing!) so yeah, slam poems HAVE to be performed, but I felt really uncomfortable reciting one cause of the CONSTANT use of the n-word. and yeah... you're right, I shouldn't be saying that. but you helped me out so much by suggesting I replace it with "brother". and since that day, I have forgotten that poem. damn. ok, I'm going to go watch Slam and rememorize!

but yeah, I have to agree, well said.
