Go to the college you feel is the best choice. Seriously, don't choose something that is lower but only seems better because it's next (or with) to her. There's soooo many things that can go wrong with that. Not to be pessemistic or anything.
Long distant relationships are tricky. I'm seriously not looking forward to turning mine into one. But I'm going to--I'm not going to go to college with Tim--because I think that's honestly a terrible idea. Choose the college you want; college is not about relationships or proximity. If you've managed a long distance relationship for this long, then you can manage it some more

i sometimes like to do multiple gifts too. for instance, one of my least known gift-giving secrets is that i go to the sale section of barnes & noble where they have the random books on random useless subjects and buy presents in accordance with what i think the person will like. (:
