So listening to my morning radio show, "the Monsters in the Morning", I hear them talking about a girl fight in which a girl was beaten up by a group of cheerleaders for 30 minutes for posting some bullshit on the internet.  They were talking about how violence among women has increased significantly over the past few generations and how girl ( Read more... )

Okay I agree that women should be at home to raise their kids if possible, but to say that men are more individualistic? What?

I am also confused as to why you say that women tend to understand daughters better than sons. My grandmother had 5 boys and she was connected to all of them. Also, in my little nuclear family, my mother and Danny relate well to each other and it is no secret that my father and I have the special bond. And I know other families where that is the case. Hence, the whole Mama's Boy thing.

I do think women may be genetic disposed to fight. Just look at the animal kingdom and fighting over males.

I just still don't agree with your comments about women not being individualistic. A well-rounded person can be individualistic. In fact, I think smarter people can be more well-rounded but yet, more individualistic as they master certain skills.

As far as drinking more, camping, etc., those are personal preferences. I don't see how people who are more "individualistic" are more likely to drink. If anything, I think people that choose not to drink in a group of drinker are more individualistic.

And I still disagree about women relating to daughter more. I have never closely related to my mother. And I have friends who prefer one kid over the other, regardless of gender.

More individualistic means you are different from other people. A group of random well rounded individuals have a higher probability of having more traits in common with each other than a group of random people who are more focused on specific things. The focused group is probably full of people with completely different interests and are therefore more individualistic than the group of well rounded individuals ( ... )
