1950 version of the 'rose' gown in the higher-contrasting monochrome shades: black silk-velvet bodice, black silk-satin 'corolla' peplum and ivory silk faille skirt.

Designed initially for Millicent Rogers, I believe.

With a cost of $975 in 1950.
