Congrats on the baby, and sorry to hear about your fiance's lupus (my mom got diagnosed with it when I was five, so I know what the situation can be like).
welcome to parenthood!! my daughter is about the same age as you (i assume) stepson? she will be starting school this year too!! the cool thing about having kids is at tax time you get earned income credit and the refund can usually take a big chunk off your bills. trust me! as long as youre responsible with it and dont blow it on, say, a playstation or a new diswasher or something... not that i would know anything about that... but yeah, that might help out a little on the financial end. the getting married thing, at least in my opinion, is just a formality. take me and dave... we've been together almost 6 years now. we have 2 kids, a house and a cat. you cant get much more married than that. i even call him my husband. but we haven't signed any paperwork yet. we're hoping to soon. we'd elope, but its our first (and hopefully last) wedding and we want to have our families there.
anyway, congrats! and good luck. you'll need it when that baby hits the terrible two's (which started a little after age 1 for my son)
Something told me to come back here and read my friends' page....now I know why. I'm so sorry for the bad. But, I'm so happy for the good in your life. I'm getting married in Vegas myself....07-07-07. :) Dudeman and I are getting married...lol. I'm so glad that you have Debbie, Logan, and Devin in your life. Even with the bad things in your life...you still seem so much more content. I miss our chats though. Friends like you are few and far between. Always wishing the best for you. And, if you ever need anything...you know where to find me. I will always be here for you.
