Most people would not disagree with self defense (except some ascetics, christian & otherwise).
Only what constitutes appropriate response.
The bleeding hearts in the DoD have studies predicting climate change and resource issues will drive future conflicts.
Should not policy be informed by such issues as motive?
Or were you talking more interpersonal conflicts?

I was actually sparking a debate between Courtney and myself. I heard about the law that's up that would make it illegal to use a firearm to defend your home from intrusion, and the way they have the law written in includes ARMED intruders.
