OK, so, obviously someone somewhere is trying to tell me something.

On my travel blog, which all of you should read every day, I started the whole thing with this post.

I get a comment today from a blogger, who links to her ridiculousl similar post, written months before mine. She is nice, she was just saying hi and that we obviously have had ( Read more... )

I mean sliding down the surface of things and being afraid to merge on freeways in Los Angeles?

...I mean I'm sure this is a story you've heard before and it just might bore you so you don't really need to read the rest of this comment...

What, I'm trying to say is don't worry about it.

There are only two stories in all of western narrative - The Oddesey and Cinderella.

All narrative writing is a variation on one of those two themes, so no matter what you do it will be similar to someone else.

That's my story, I'm sticking to it, you heard it here first, on the QT and very, very hush, hush.

Similar, yes.

But your style of writing, in my opinion, is much wittier and less self-aggrandizing.

Having something in common with a phenomenal writer is nothing to despair about. It's actually a good thing. Keep your chin up!!
